Madame Tussauds – London
During the refurbishment at Madame Tussauds Richco were asked to provide our recommendations for the different flooring areas. The initial design concept stated that each flooring area required a different theme and color therefore Richco specifically designed bespoke flooring in each individual area.
It was specified by the client that the London Taxi Ride area had a floor that resembled a street scene. Richco recommended the installation of Richco Quartz Screed which is an epoxy floor screed produced by the combination of clear epoxy resins and pigmented quartz aggregates.
Richco Quartz Screed exhibits the highest order of abrasion resistance and is therefore ideal for use in high pedestrian areas. The Richco Quartz Screed was used within the London Taxi Ride area to replicate traditional paving slabs. The completed flooring works met with the clients’ requirements in this particular area by providing a floor that resembled a street screed.
