Shrek Adventures

Shrek’s Adventure! Is a family-friendly attraction based on the film “Shrek” and is an indoor walk-and-ride attraction located on London’s South Bank at County Hall, close to other leading attractions in the area, including the London Eye, SEA LIFE London and The London Dungeon.

This unique experience, developed by Merlin Entertainments in conjunction with DreamWorks Animation and brings to life the hilarious world of Shrek and friends. The fantastical tour combines 10 laugh-out-loud live shows and classic sets from the Shrek films with captivating storytelling, an amazing 4D ride, dramatic special effects and extraordinary DreamWorks animation. Richco were involved with the Shrek project right from the design stages where we were provided a themed booklet from the client to work from.  Richco provided custom floor designs for each individual area throughout the attraction.

From the moment you walk through the attraction to the moment you finish your adventure you are walking on “Richco Floors”.  The floors are designed to work alongside the graphics and theming to tell a story in each of the different areas and immerse the guests in the whole experience.

The finish floors give the guests the “experience” whilst walking through the attraction.  The finished project exceeded the client expectations by giving different themes in each area, but providing a practical, hardwearing and easy to clean flooring throughout the attraction.
