Sea Life – Japan
Sea Life, Japan is located in Nagoya at the LEGOLAND® Japan Hotel. Sea Life Nagoya is divided into 11 zones with distinct themes in each area. It is intended to be a “hands-on” aquarium with the intent of sparking an interest in the ocean to children by touching its creatures and learning about their ways of life at locations in over 50 places around the world. Richco were involved with the Sea Life, Japan project right from the design stages where we were provided a themed booklet from the client to work from. Richco provided custom floor designs for each individual area throughout the aquarium.
From the moment you walk through the attraction to the moment you finish your adventure you are walking on “Richco Floors”. The floors are designed to work alongside the graphics and theming to tell a story in each of the different areas and immerse the guests in the whole experience. The finish floors give the guests the “experience” whilst walking through the attraction. The finished project exceeded the client expectations by giving different themes in each area, but providing a practical, hardwearing and easy to clean flooring throughout the aquarium.
